This session will look at the peculiarities of teaching grammar and vocabulary at different levels through the prism of Cambridge English Exams. We will consider the difference in receptive knowledge and productive use of the lexical items at A2-B2 levels and its teaching implication. We will discuss the possible ways of teaching and checking understanding of the vocabulary at different levels. As for the grammar, we will look at the tasks that cause most trouble and will discuss how to approach them. After the session, you will get an understanding how levels A2-B2 differ lexically and grammatically, and what it means in terms of teaching.
